Founder of Sound Retirement, James Fowler Jr, built his entire career upon his desire to help others build and protect their dreams. With a degree in Business Management from Clover Park Technical College and over 35 industry related certifications, James is well versed to help most anyone. 

He understands the importance of educating clients on the factors that put their finances at risk and how to strategically overcome those challenges. James credits a happenstance encounter with a self-made millionaire for opening his eyes as to how he could utilize his skills to play an integral role in helping others achieve a successful future. Now, after 20 years in the financial industry, he is living out his dream of serving his community through doing what he is most passionate about! 

James helps families to secure their futures utilizing his expertise in Asset Protection, Retirement Income, Tax Minimization, Wealth Accumulation, Life Insurance and Annuities. Though James enjoys a successful life and career, like most life journeys, it did not come without its fair share of obstacles. After suffering a stroke at the age of 40, James had to rebuild his life from ground zero, learning how to walk again. Performing daily activities that he once did with ease was a challenging endeavor, to say the least. 

This unexpected turn of events taught him the meaning of resiliency and what is possible when will power refuses to back down. With a newly developed perspective on the impact of unforeseen circumstances and a further appreciation for living a purposeful life, James has gained even more motivation to help his clients live their most fulfilling lives. When he’s not working, you will likely find James cheering on his beloved San Francisco 49ers! He loves spending time near the water and enjoys game nights with family and friends. If he could vacation anywhere, he would have his toes in the sand at the beach. James is an active member of his church and an active member in the business community.
